G.C.S.E.’s – 12 grade A -C GCSE’s including English Literature (A*), English Language (A*), Religious Education (A*), Maths (B), Science (B)

School Experience
In 2011 I worked in a Primary school in Manchester. The school was full of diverse pupils with varying backgrounds including a number of EAL children. Whilst volunteering at the school I developed my teaching skills and classroom managing abilities and became confident working in both KS1 and KS2.
While volunteering in this school, I mainly worked with small groups of children and individuals that found it particularly difficult to concentrate. In KS2 I helped the children with guided reading and maths problems and making sense of class work. In KS1 I assisted with activities and reading and computer play to ensure the children got the most out of programs such as 'Espresso.'
While on the PGCE Course:
Foundation - One week in a Reception class in inner city Manchester.
KS1 - 7 weeks in Year 2 at an inner city school in Manchester.
KS2 - 7 weeks in Year 3 at an inner city school in Manchester.
This website aims to not only follow my PGCE year but also to document various uses of ICT in Primary classrooms.
